ESI Scheme are administered by Employees' State Insurance Corporation ("ESIC") set up under the ESI Act 1948. It is a statutory corporate body .The ESI scheme is a self-financed social security scheme to protect the employees covered under the scheme against financial distress in case of sickness, disablement or death due to employment injuries.

Documents Required For Registration

To register for ESI (Employees' State Insurance) the employer has to submit the following documents along with the application

  • PAN card
  • Latest bank statement
  • Address proof and rent receipt of premises with capacity
  • The registration certificate or license issued byShops and establishment Acts and Factories Act
  • Photocopy of the last building tax/property tax receipt
  • MOA and AOA or Partnership Deed or Trust Deed - whichever is applicable to the applying entity
  • Photocopy of registration
    • Certificate of commencement of production
    • Registration No. of CST/ST/GST

For ESI filings, monthly pay sheet to computeamount contributed for each employee.
